Description

Students will investigate Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) as a climate solution for commercial aviation, examining how SAF is produced, what makes it "sustainable," and evaluating the genuine opportunities and barriers to Canadian adoption. Through research and reflection, students will understand that SAF is a promising tool, but not a silver bullet. They'll recognize that climate solutions in aviation require both technological innovation and policy/economic change.
