Description

In this lesson, students explore the role refrigerants play in everyday life and how they affect the environment. Students will investigate how refrigeration systems work, examine the environmental impacts of common refrigerants, and learn about emerging alternatives with lower climate impacts. Students will also reflect on how refrigerant technologies relate to climate solutions in Canada and globally.
