Description

Students will explore the critical ecological and cultural importance of kelp and seaweed ecosystems through multimedia learning: an infographic, video, and article. They will investigate how seaweed supports the planet through carbon sequestration, ocean acidification regulation, marine biodiversity support, and production of everyday products. This lesson honours both scientific and Indigenous knowledge systems.
