The Future is Down Under

Description

Students will investigate geothermal energy as a renewable climate solution, examining its global applications (particularly Iceland) and its growing potential in Canada. Through research, analysis, and creative presentation design, students will understand how geothermal systems work, evaluate the barriers and opportunities for geothermal adoption in Canada, and propose residential and community-scale solutions tailored to Canadian contexts.
