Description

This lesson sequence guides students through the topics of energy, electricity, and solar radiation, focusing on the impact of solar photovoltaic technology installed on rooftops (with less than 1 MW of capacity). Ultimately, students will be equipped with knowledge about a net-zero carbon future and how solar power generation can play a part in reducing the carbon footprint of their own communities, starting with adoption of solar at their school.
