Description

Plastics are everywhere in our daily lives, from lunch containers to clothing tags to the devices we use in class. But what if there was a better option? Bioplastics are materials made from renewable resources like corn, sugarcane, and algae that can break down naturally, reducing plastic waste in our environment. In this lesson, students will research different aspects of bioplastics, evaluate their potential as a climate solution, and propose how their school could reduce plastic waste by switching to bioplastics.
