Description

What if we could improve carbon sinks and reduce carbon emissions with one solution? Meet Biochar; a form of biomass that is rich in carbon. By burying biochar in other soils, we can reduce the amount of carbon released by its degradation while also enriching & improving soil. In this lesson, students explore whether it is worth the effort to excavate land to bury biochar.
