Description

This two-day lesson introduces students to district cooling as a climate solution and asks them to evaluate its viability for a fictional Canadian city in 2035 using stakeholder perspectives. Students begin by exploring how we currently cool our spaces and the environmental impacts of those methods. Using city data and stakeholder roles, groups analyze the implications of implementing a district cooling system, debate perspectives, present arguments, and write individual justifications.
