Through this learning sequence about utility-scale solar photovoltaics, students will engage in small group work, inquiry, and discussions while utilizing multiple digital learning resources. Students will examine content about Canada’s commitment to environmental stewardship while simultaneously considering the potential of utility-scale solar photovoltaics as part of a net-zero future. Ultimately, students will be poised to write their own persuasive essay about Canada’s journey towards net-zero electricity.
