Description

Students will investigate small-scale hydropower through research, case study analysis, and critical evaluation. They will understand how small hydropower systems work, assess their feasibility in different Canadian contexts, and recognize the role of geography and seasonality in energy generation. This lesson emphasizes that while hydropower is valuable, it is not a universal solution; context, location, and environmental factors determine its suitability.
