What influences your standards?

Description

The choices we make about our living spaces reflect our values. In this lesson, students explore what influences housing decisions and how environmental considerations can shape more sustainable homes. Students will examine how low-flow water fixtures reduce water use, energy consumption, and greenhouse gas emissions. Through guided reflection, discussion, and a structured worksheet, students will consider how personal values, finances, culture, access, and environmental responsibility influence decision-making. This lesson balances self-directed work with structured reflection and whole-class discussion.
