Description

In this cross-curricular lesson, students explore the importance of tropical forests and consider how humans can live in greater harmony with these vital ecosystems. Through discussion, geographic inquiry, and creative expression, students will reflect on the role tropical forests play in absorbing greenhouse gas emissions and supporting life on Earth. Students will apply their learning by creating an original art piece that communicates their vision for a sustainable future alongside healthy tropical forests.
