Description

This lesson examines walkable cities as a cornerstone climate solution and urban sustainability strategy. Students will analyze the relationship between urban design, transportation choices, carbon emissions, and quality of life. Through inquiry, case study analysis, and design thinking, students will evaluate walkability in their own communities and propose solutions that balance environmental sustainability with social equity, accessibility, and cultural relevance.
