Why Does Food Waste Matter

Description

Students will investigate the interconnections between food waste, greenhouse gas emissions, resource depletion, and food security, developing an understanding of why individual actions matter within systems. Rather than passive learning about global statistics, students will examine their own food waste patterns, engage in peer dialogue to challenge assumptions, research solutions in their community, and develop personalized action plans.
